TOWER CRANE OPERATOR CERTIFICATION  (Course No GS-06)

 

 
Target Audience        :        Onshore/Offshore Crane Operators
Location                     :       Training Centre in Mussafah or at client own premises.
Objectives                  :       To Train the operator to internationally acceptable  levels of crane operation.                         

Contents                     :       Course conducted in 2 Phases [Classroom & On Site using cranes to be operated by trainees in their normal duties.

Ø Knowledge of General Maintenance

Ø Understanding of Crane Operators Manual

Ø Understanding of Safe Load Indicator

Ø   Understand of Capacity Chart

Ø Correct Instrument and Control Use

Ø Correct Crane Set Up Procedure

Ø Judgement of Height & Distance

Ø Judgement of Height & Distance

Ø Appreciation of weather Limitations

Ø Appreciation of correct Slinging

Ø Knowledge of Current Legislation

Ø Aptitude & Learning Ability

Ø General Attitude

Ø Performance During Assessmen
