ELEMENTARY FIRST AID (Course No RL-02)

 

 
 Location                     :        Training Centre in Musaffah .
Objectives                  :       To Ensure that delegates are competent to the standards of the STCW code in the
                                                           basic knowledge of mediate action to be taken in the event of an accident or other
                                                            medical emergency aboard ship   


Contents                     :      Candidate shall be required to demonstrate knowledge, understanding and abiliy
                                                          with regard to

Ø   The Principles of First Aid

Ø   Casualty assessment

Ø     Shock management

 Ø      Recovery Position

 Ø      Burns Bandaging & Dressings

Ø      Control of bleeding

 Ø      Rescue and Recovery of Casualty

 

Time                            :      1 Day Course (6 to 8 Hours) Valid for 5 Years
