EMERGENCY RESPONSE(Corporate Procedure) (Course No HSE-47)

 

 
Target Audience        :        Oil Company’s Field based employees grade 11+. Also  any other  person with responsibilities for
                                                            implementation of   the emergency response and evacuation activities.
Location                     :        Training Centre at Musaffah.
Objectives                  :        To provide an understanding of the ADCO .Emergency Response system and the roles and responsibilities of all
                                                           personnel. It will be expected to run table top exercises relevant to each area

Contents                     :           

Ø      Outline of ADCO emergency response system. Types of emergencies detailed in the emergency response system and how they can occur

Ø      Details of types of emergencies, fires explosions, toxic gas or substances escape, loss of containment/burst pipelines, medical emergencies, terrorist or bomb threat, loss of radioactive source or escape of ionising radiation

Ø      Response to emergencies, detection, raising the alarm, assessment of incident and activation of response, evacuation, musters, manning of control centres, alternative evacuation provisions, provisions for medical assistance.

Ø      Types of internal and external assistance and response capabilities, including  hospitals, fire and rescue services, police, armed forces, other facility and site operators.

Ø      Detailed responsibilities of ADCO personnel

Ø      Command structure and the means of command, communication system, liaison with external emergency services and internal emergency response teams.

Ø      Employee and external agency liaison, including relatives, press, government, other operators, partners and adjacent sites that may be affected.

Ø      Training schedules and types of training, musters and drills.

Ø      Emergency exercise provision, how they are controlled and evaluated.

Ø      Monitoring of training, feed back systems, wash-ups and implementation of recommendations.

Time                        :     One Day Course (6  to 7 Hours) Valid for 2 Years.
