CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT AWARENESS  (Course No HSE-60)

 

 
Target Audience        :          Managers / Asst Managers / Sr.Engineers who manage operations involving storage, transportation,
                                                              handling and use of chemicals (Group A). Engineers who supervise operation involving storage,
                                                              transportation, handling and use of chemical.(Group B). Foremen operators etc who r involved in
                                                              operations involving storage, transpiration, handling and use of chemicals.(Group C)
Location                     :          Training Centre at Musaffah or client site.
Objectives                  :          To convey to the target audience, the hazards of chemical, the risk of exposure and the use of material
                                                              safety data sheets. To give the audience a better understanding and prepare them for he chemical
                                                              management system as and when it is implemented

Contents                     :                                                             

                                              Ø      Mention importance  of a chemical  management system, hazards and risk of exposure during  storage, transportation,
                                                                      handling and use of chemicals, labelling, MSDS, communication of hazards, signs and symbols, different routed of exposure,
                                                                     controls, importance and the proper use of PPE

Time                        :               One  Day Course (5 to 6 Hours)
