CHAMICAL HANDLING  (Course No GS-15)

 

 
Target Audience        :          Any staff or crew member dealing with chemicals.
Location                     :          Either at Training Centre in Musaffah or on Clients own premises.
Objectives                  :          To ensure that staff are competent in handling different types of chemicals keeping safety in
                                                               mind, enable one  to avoid accident.

Contents                     :                                                             

 

Ø             Identify chemical hazards and information packing (warning signs)

Ø             Handle different chemicals

Ø             Use carboys and chemical containers

Ø             Define hazardous waste awareness

Ø             Carry out chemical emergency preparedness and procedure

Ø             Be aware of effects of temperature and chemicals

Ø             Understand the need of correct storage and protection of chemicals

Time                        :               One Day Course (5 to 6 Hours) Valid for 3 Years.
