BASIC FIRST AID (Course No FA-32)

 

 
Target Audience        :          Any offices person or  crew  member Who works at site offshore on shore and for office.
Location                     :          Either at Training Centre in Musaffah or at Clients own    premises.
Objectives                  :          To give delegates a basic understanding of First Aid an confidence in their ability to carry out basic First Aid Procedures.

Contents                     :                                                            

 

Ø             Assess both the situation and patient in the event of an incident

Ø             Define level, causes and management of an unconscious person

Ø             Be able to put patient in the recovery position

Ø             Understand the causes of breathing and heart difficulties

Ø             Be able to instigate E.A.R. on breathing problems

Ø             Be able to instigate C.P.R. on circulation problems

Ø             Know how to use a resuscitator

Ø             Be aware of signs, symptoms and procedures of dealing with choking

Ø             Be aware of types of bleeding, internal and external and how to control them

Ø             Understand the symptoms and management of shock sufferers

Time                        :              One Day Course (5 to 6 Hours) Valid for 3 years.
